From the Principal’s Desk

As you know, Dr. Weston has been working alongside me since January and it has been great to have a long handover and smooth transition. We have worked very well together and become firm friends. The purpose of me writing to you is to inform you I will be moving on to my next position at the end of term and shall be leaving at the Eid break.

I have enjoyed four very happy years at Greenfield and it has been a pleasure to see it grow during that time. Our academic results, sporting successes, quality of the musical performances, DSIB inspection judgements, community service and many other dimensions of the life have improved steadily. There have been challenges along the way, as in every facet of life, but, looking back we have come a long way. It has been an honour to work alongside a very committed teaching and administration staff and the Taaleem team.  I have particularly enjoyed working with the Greenfield Community Parents and Advisory Board who have made a huge contribution to the school. The International Days will stand out as some of my best memories. I would like to thank you for your support. Greenfield is a special place and its diverse community gives it a unique warmth.

We have terrific students at our school and it is their smiles, laughter and energy that have made my time at the school so enjoyable and rewarding. I shall take many happy memories with me and leave a bit of my heart behind.

Best wishes,

Andrew Wood
